We here are FAS Windows and Doors are firm believers in being green and using as many green products as we can. We realize that it is more important now more then ever to do our part to protect the environment. With that being said we would like to showcase Eagle Windows & Doors and how they are doing their part in being green.
Eagle Windows and Doors is an Andersen Door and Window Company located in Dubuque Iowa. They feature a complete line of high quality aluminum clad windows and doors. Eagle customers can choose from 50 complimentary colors, 11 interior finishes and can be built from 9 different wood species. To help protect natural resources, Eagle only uses wood that is harvested from managed forests. They also only use water based finished on the wood as this has less of an impact on the environment when compared to oil based finishes.
Also Eagle’s aluminum cladding system contains recycled aluminum, which requires less energy to process than virgin aluminum. These are just some of things that Eagle is doing to become more green.
