No one can describe the sense of pride that comes with owning your own home. However, for many working Americans, owning a home in a faltering economy seems out of reach. FAS Windows & Doors teamed up with Real Radio 104.1 FM, Habitat for Humanity, and a contingent of community partners to bring an energy-efficient home to a deserving family.

FASWD gives back to Central Florida with energy-efficient products

Orlando residents may know the popular morning show “Monsters in the Morning” for edgy humor, but the rambunctious talk radio station proved they do take one thing seriously—improving the community. Last August, Sanford resident and single mother Latasha Medlock moved into Habitat for Humanity's Monster House after a fire destroyed her home. Pictures from the move-in show an elated Latasha with her two daughters enjoying their new home. Latasha tells Channel 13 News, "I've been in Sanford for 35 years. To finally be in my house is exciting.”

FAS Windows & Doors was pleased to donate energy-efficient Simonton windows to the Monster House. We know the Medlocks will love these top-performing customer favorites due to their use of premium vinyl and ability to keep air conditioning costs low. We are happy to help Central Florida residents, like the Medlocks, access safe and affordable housing.

If you are interested in learning more about FAS Windows & Doors and our premium line of products, please don't hesitate to contact us to schedule a showroom visit or an in-home, no obligation consultation.

I asked FAS along with three other window manufacturers for a quote. FAS had a good quote and good reputation so I decided to go with them. I got their Simonton windows and customized the order. Their sales rep was very knowledgeable, went step-by-step, had a sample window that he brought in, and he was pretty detailed. They had somebody come out and do an in-depth measurement to make sure everything would be perfect. The installation was done by two guys and they did a good job. They were very clean, picked up after themselves and made sure that we were happy before they left. The overall quality of the windows is good and I like them.
