Looking for energy efficient replacement windows? Look no further but here at FAS Windows & Doors. One route to go is to go with argon or krypton gas. Krypton gas is a non-toxic gas which is about 12 times denser than air. It is used to replace air between the glass panes to reduce temperature transfer and deter convection. Argon gas is also a non-toxic gas that is six times more dense than air. When Argon is used to fill Argon Gasthe insulating glass unit, it helps to reduce convection rates which equals more energy efficiency for your home because of your windows!
Simonton and Gorell offers vinyl energy efficient windows as Andersen offer energy efficient replacement for wood and wood-clad. If you come by the showroom, we can demonstrate the difference between a regular double-pane sample and a gas-filled double-pane sample. You will feel the difference.
Argon and krypton gases are additional ways to be more energy efficient for your windows and doors. You will feel the difference in your home and see the difference on your bill.

I asked FAS along with three other window manufacturers for a quote. FAS had a good quote and good reputation so I decided to go with them. I got their Simonton windows and customized the order. Their sales rep was very knowledgeable, went step-by-step, had a sample window that he brought in, and he was pretty detailed. They had somebody come out and do an in-depth measurement to make sure everything would be perfect. The installation was done by two guys and they did a good job. They were very clean, picked up after themselves and made sure that we were happy before they left. The overall quality of the windows is good and I like them.
