Ernie Wilding is no stranger to the building and construction industry. The founder and CEO of FAS Windows & Doors has applied his 36 years of experience to become Central Florida's premier window and door supplier for new-construction builders, as well as homeowners renovating existing homes.

After establishing two highly successful home improvement companies in Florida and North Carolina, Ernie turned his attention closer to home. He had a vision for a business that would focus solely on the supply, service and installation of quality windows and doors. With the industry powerhouse Andersen® Windows backing him, Ernie launched FAS Windows & Doors in early 2005. Working by his side to spearhead the company’s growth is his son, John. In a relatively short time, the father and son team has seen unprecedented growth, boasting an impressive list of clientele including many of Central Florida’s premier custom luxury homebuilders, architects and designers.

But the passion to see the company prosper does not stop with the Wildings. Each employee, from the installers to the executives, is willing to pitch in wherever needed to ensure customers receive exceptional products with exceptional service.

FAS Windows & Doors is a member of Andersen’s® exclusive Circle of Excellence program. Andersen has been so impressed with FAS’s level of service, it supported the opening of a second design center located in Tampa to complement the Orlando location.

Customer service is the driving force behind FAS's success. Though representatives will gladly make onsite calls, clients are encouraged to visit one FAS’s state-of-the-art design centers. At each of these 14,000-square-foot facilities, customers are seated in comfortable, leather chairs positioned around a 42” plasma flat-screen television--where the extensive line of products is showcased--and given a tour of the warehouse, where full-size windows and doors are on displays.

Practically any shape, size, color and style are within the customer’s reach. Though the product line leans toward high-end offerings, FAS prides itself on accommodating any budget.
