Question 1:
Does FAS Windows & Doors do installations only? 
 
Answer:
FAS Windows & Doors only offers installation on products that were purchased with our company. Unfortunately at this time we do not offer installation on products that were purchased with another company.
 
Question 2:
Does FAS Windows & Doors sell or install Pet Doors?
 
Answer:
At this time we do not offer the sale or installation of Pet Doors.  FAS Windows & Doors is also unable to install Patio Doors or French Doors to accommodate a Pet Door.
 
Question 3:
Will FAS Windows & Doors just sell me the materials, if I have my own installer?
 
Answer:
Yes, at this time we can sell materials only and deliver it right to the job site for you, if it's local to one our showrooms. 
 
Question 4:
Can FAS Windows & Doors enclose a patio area with glass or otherwise?
 
Answer:
To enclose a patio, Florida code requires at least one electrical outlet on every wall, A/C and heat piped into the area and slab has to be at least 6 inches thick, and this entire area needs to be under an insulated roof.  If all of these conditions are met, FAS Windows & Doors can install windows in your patio area. 
 
Florida code regulations do not have to be met if you are installing Plexiglass or Lexand windows, however FAS Windows & Doors does not carry these products.
 
Question 5:
Does FAS Windows & Doors sell Bay, Bow or Garden Windows?
 
Answer:
Unfortunately at this time, Bay, Bow, and Garden windows do not meet Florida's very strict wind zone codes and therefore have not been approved for installation within Florida.  However, if you have a window that has a bay style, but is separated by wood or block framing, FAS Windows & Doors can replace those windows, as they are not a true bay window.
 
Question 6:
Does FAS Windows & Doors make openings for windows in walls where there are no openings?
 
Answer:
Unfortunately at this time, we can not alter the structure of a home, the opening for a window must be pre-existing, and thus the same size as the window we will be installing.  Structural changes must be made with a Contractor. 
 
If you have a set of plans, we can take measurements from the plans and provide you with a quote.  If this is the case, we recommend that you visit one of our showrooms, so that you can see our vast selection of windows and doors.  At this time, we can also build the windows right in front of you, on our customized plasma screen tv, and give you a printed version of your quote before you leave.
 
Question 7:
Can you enlarge or minimize window openings that already exist?
 
Answer:
Unfortunately at this time, FAS Windows & Doors is not able to make any window opening larger or smaller, unless you have a Contractor working with you to alter the size of the opening before we perform an installation.  FAS Windows & Doors will only replace a window with a window of the same size.
 
Question 8:
Do you have a Showroom?
 
Answer:
Yes, FAS Windows & Doors currently has two state-of-the-art showrooms located in Orlando and Tampa.  The showrooms are open Monday through Friday, and on weekends or after hours by appointment only.  
 
Question 9:
Do you need to make an appointment to visit our showroom?
 
Answer:
The showrooms are open Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM.  After hours or on weekends, appointments are necessary.  However, if you contact us, we'll be more than happy to have a representative meet you at either of the showroom locations.
 
Question 10:
Is there a fee of any sort for the in-home consultation that you offer?
 
Answer:
Absolutely not!  It's a FREE in-home consultation.  We hope that you'll consider FAS Windows & Doors if you do move ahead with any replacement project you may have in the future or recommend us to others!
 
Question 11:
What forms of payment do you accept?
 
Answer:
FAS Windows & Doors accepts cash payment, personal checks, business checks, and all major credit cards (Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover).  We also have numerous financing options available to you. 
 
Question 12:
Will you give me a price over the phone?
 
Answer:
Unfortunately at this time, FAS Windows & Doors does not give any pricing over the phone.  We will however look at a set of plans and provide you with a quote within our showroom.  We will also be more than happy to offer you a complimentary in-home consultation any day of the week.
 
Question 13:
Is there a minimum order required?
 
Answer:
FAS Windows & Doors does require at least three windows to be replaced at the time of purchase.  Unfortunately we will not set up a complimentary in-home consultation for two windows or less.  Please note this rule does not apply to French Doors, Patio Doors or exterior coating.
 
Question 14:
Will you come to my home for an entry door estimate?
 
Answer:
Unfortunately at this time FAS Windows & Doors will not schedule an in-home consultation for an entry door because there aren't samples that can be brought out to a home.  We will however be more than happy to schedule an appointment in the showroom, so that you can open and close a real sized door, and see all the options.
 
Questions 15:
Do you sell Storm Doors or Security Doors?
 
Answer:
Unfortunately at this time FAS Windows & Doors do not carry any product lines which include Storm Doors or Security Doors.
