FAS Windows & Doors, LLC, a privately held corporation headquartered in Winter Park, FL. FAS Windows & Doors is Central Florida’s largest volume window, door and coating dealer, with factory direct pricing. It was established by the father and son team of Ernie and John Wilding in February 2005 with the objective of providing the Central Florida community with the best quality windows and doors, at a reasonable price, and with a customer service level unsurpassed within the market.
Customers often ask, “Why the name FAS Windows & Doors”? We’re glad you asked! Ernie and John Wilding are well known on the local auto racing circuit. The name of their father-and-son racing team is “FAS Motorsports”, a moniker that was coined by a friend of the family. When the two men designed the concept for the window and door business they decided to carry over the name from their motorsports hobby.
Ernie Wilding, the Father, came from a highly successful background, having begun two home improvement companies, one in Florida and one in North Carolina, and building them into strong entities of their own. Ernie, a father of four, fulfilled a personal desire by partnering with his son, John, to found the premier window and door provider in Central Florida.
John Wilding, the Son, worked in the insurance industry before joining his father as a cofounder of FASWD. John’s strong customer service and business knowledge proved to be an excellent strategic complement to Ernie’s experience.

The Orlando Design Center, now referred to as the Showroom opened in April 2005. Ernie and John surrounded themselves with an energetic team of window and door professionals, all with extensive knowledge and vast experience in the window and door industry. Just one year later, FASWD had grown so much that a second facility in Tampa was opened, in June 2006.
FAS Windows & Doors has an excellent reputation in the industry for providing both new construction and retrofit windows to add energy efficiency and beauty to any consumer's homes. FAS Windows & Doors also provides quality material only sales to contractors and homeowners, for those who prefer to do it themselves.
